The Lord Nelson was situated at 78 Bridge Street. This pub closed in 2013 and was put up for sale as a pub but failed to attract a buyer. It was subsequently bought by Schofield Commercial Interiors, which owns Bridge Kitchens next door, and they have now knocked through the party wall between the two properties, although the conversion work is still in progress. It lookes likely it is going to be an extension of the Bridge Kitchens business.
