The Warren Buckley was situated at the junction of Warren Street and Bridge Street. The pub was demolished in 1986 but the facade was reconstructed further down Bridge Street.
There was a vault below the pub that was used by a jazz club as I remember in the 60s and 70s. The landlord was a great fan. He recorded many artists on basic cassette tape. A few years ago several tracks were transferred onto a CD. Did the vault survive? Is it now below the modern shop buildings?
