The Stockport Arms was situated at 25 St Petersgate, and is now used as a coffee shop.

This pub was either owned or managed by James and Agnes Welsh until his death in 1923.

This was a very pleasant pub in the early 1980's, owned by Greenall Whitley of Warrington and selling their Mild and Bitter in traditional form.
