Cross Keys, Crewe

The Cross Keys was situated on Remer Street. An impressive pub that sits off a busy roundabout at the back end of Coppenhall, the Cross Keys had two distinct drinking/eating areas, an outdoor terrace with tables and a function room on the 1st floor named the Alexandra Suite. Pool, darts and televised sport also featured. This pub closed in July 2010.

This pub has now reopened.
Trevor Clowes (February 2011)

The Cross Keys has now closed again, and is awaiting demolition as part of a proposed new housing development in the fields to the back of the pub.
Ian Bray (August 2011)
