The White Lion was situated on Bell Street. This
grade II listed building is now used as an antiques shop. |

How well I remember this pub, from the time I was a Post
Office Counter clerk, employed at Aylesbury. I was seconded to Princes
Risborough Post Office for a lengthy period in the mid-1970's, and would
regularly repair to the White Lion when we closed the office between 1 and 2
p.m. for lunch. |
