The Wheatsheaf was situated on the Market Place
and is the building on the right hand side of both photos. This pub was
originally called The Red Lion until c1820. It then became The Wheatsheaf
before closing c1910. It has since been used as a bank, but now that has
closed and the building is currently unoccupied |
