The Kings Head was situated on White
Hill, Holtspur (AKA the A40 London Road). This well known pub was a popular
stopping off point, situated on what was one of the main roads west out of
London until the M40 was built in the late 1960s. It changed to a hybrid
free house pub / Harvester restaurant in the early 1990s, before the pub
part closed completely in the 2000s. More recently, it changed hands again
and became a Miller & Carter steak house. |
