The Mitre was situated at 47 West Street. This pub is now used as a Thai restaurant.

Another pub I used to work in c1975. Memory hazy, but seem to recall it had a number of small bars dotted over the building, with several small serveries, making it more intimate than other pubs of the era. Was it also a proto-pub/restaurant?
