Mr Charlie Bray was the last land lord
of this pub it closed in 1958 it was only a beer house and had no counter
you served from the top of the cellar steps. Part of the building has been
knocked down two garages stand there now also the land next door where the
bungalows stand belonged to the pub. Charlie Bray moved to the Red Lion in
Toddington and was there until 1967 when he retired he passed away in 1968. |
