The Dewdrop Inn was situated on Britannia Road.
The Dew Drop Inn, at the end of it's life, was surrounded by completely by buildings owned by the local hospital.  They bought it after it closed and demolished it. I believe the hospital had planned to extend facilities storage area but the public spending cuts came along shortly afterwards and the scheme is on hold.  To be honest, the only surprise with this pub was that it hung on as long as it did it a very bad location.
